They, Them, and the Games They Play.
They take you away
that game they play
They are sugar-eyed and deceiving
don't listen to the lies they begin weaving
Breathe in deep
let yourself escape, fall asleep
Forget what they said
lay down in your comforting bed
Lose their words
let each letter fly like birds
They unleash chills,
the kind that kills
They say, remember your medication
do you want another therapeutic examination?
Realize what they are trying to pull
they are all so crammed full
Lies, lies, lies
they try to improvise
"It will make you feel good,
it will and should"
Don't let them take advantage
you are strong, you can manage
I promise you, get away
don't let them steal one more precious day
