Remembering Spring
Winter
Has held the buds of spring
In its icy fist
For long enough.
The chirping of the robin
Echoes in my memory.
Barely there
It has survived the harsh months
Of frigid gales
And icy walkways.
Hopefully
Spring will break free
Soon enough.
And with it
Will come new life
And new hope.

Thank u!
So amazingly written....I love how you can communicate so much in your poems, even though they aren't long ones (unlike me, haha....I can't seem to stop writing when I start!). But each and every one of your poems has spoken to me in a different way. All of them are very easy for everyone to relate to, and they can touch us in ways other ones can't.
Keep writing, and thank you for the wonderful contributions to the site!
Thanks HorseLover!
