Into open view
Soaring through the clear blue sky
Gliding
On top of the world

Outside the window
A grazed patch of farmland
And lying next to it
The swarming city, the infinite wilderness
All
Pinched together
Like a map in the sky

Blurry and discontented
Yet astonishment to say the least
Breath caught like a grappled hook
Marveling at the magnificent view

Constant shifting and swiftness growing
Flying at the speed of light
Yet feeling as if just hovering
Inching along a path of air

Gazing out into the open space
The vastness conquering reality
Engine roaring
A painted picture
Flying on top of the world
