The Sunset's Sigh
The sunset
sighs
as it knows the end
is near.
It gives off its
last
rays of light.
Past beauty vanished,
now glowing shades
of pink and orange seem
forlorn,
empty, and
halfhearted.
The sun
breathes its
last
breath before
the horizon
swallows it greedily.
The earth falling into
chaos
and
suffering.
