Ark Angel
She traces my outline with her lingering eyes
My opaque heart drums through my pink density
Of me and my chalk bone cage
The highway of rising cells reddens my plane
Of strained, pulled, trained face pulled back at the
Question mark hearing aid.
I am not threatening to her, but she's lain her ears back
And swished, calculation the opportunity to escape from her demeaning
Sardonic smile.
I need to expand fill me space to be safe from
Crumbling. Caving in, spiraling slowly down the
Tornado that encases my trivial pitiful pleas
Contained within my helpless synapses, I wait for her
To pass by, to take a step away to give me a reason to
Move. She's predatory standing right in front of me
With a way of looking right through me. I tremble like fallen
Autumn leaves. She melts into the shadows. My eyes following her
from through the nights cast shadow
When she's gone I stumble down the leveled gates
I catch my breath to fill myself back up all the
Empty spaces that I've never created only had punched
Ripped torn broken through. Eventually I've made it through, to
catch my breath, move them through the
Space and time she's left in her wake.
I return to my group, I've been missed a
Mistake I pay dutifully for. I spend the night thinking
Wondering why she was here. Until I waste away after her.
