Angel Babies
To some it’s a moment,
To others a life.
The little baby
that slipped away,
Born just yesterday,
But gone today.
The little baby boys and girls
put in tiny graves.
Here today,
Gone tomorrow.
Many die today,
Some die tomorrow,
If you listen closely
you might even hear,
The soft frantic sobbing
of a mother who lost all dear.
Some say they’re gone,
Some call them spirits,
I say they’re here,
I call them
Angel babies.
