These Cuts
The cuts, they are so deep
Blood wells, dripping to the floor
As the light fades, I hear him crying my name
He's begging me to stay, I whisper that I love him
I hear the sirens, then I knew
He was for real
I hear him crying,
His sobs, they help me climb back out of the deep, black hole I am in
I look up into his eyes and swear to never leave him
The cuts, they were so deep
But love,
Love healed me.
