Childhood
Innocent smiles and cool lemonade
I hear our laughter, at a Sunday parade
Daisy crowns and mud pies
No tears, no sorrowful goodbyes
Teddy bears and blankets
Music is magical as we all sing along
Boys still have cooties

There's always hope for the last cherry popsicle, and taking a nap is terrible torture
The things adults say are neglected as you beg them to push your swing higher
Life is simple, and your lollipop sticky fingers cling to mine
Let's pretend for a moment we're kids again.
When the wieght of the world was nothing but bubbles and a princess crown.
