When I look at you
When I look into your eyes
I see something deep inside
Something small yet so true
I love it and so should you
I miss the way you used to laugh
You’d giggle all the time
But now your days are full of sorrow
And I’m left thinking about the past
Remembering how it used to be
When you used to smile
I thought about how beautiful you are
I saw a spark of light that glitters with joy
Like a little kid who just received a toy
You’re beautiful through and through
I hope you see how much I love you
And if you don’t I hope one day
The sky will open and the birds will sing
And you will be happy again
