My empty mind at night
My ears filled with the sounds of my echoing thoughts
As my eyes take in the black scene before me
What hides behind my soft closed eyes
A scene so black
As to spell my troubles upon
With brittle white chalk
If you could only see the agonies I write upon that wall
That blackness
So blank
With all the troubles that no one seems to know about
Or maybe they just don't care
Of this I'm pretty sure
I’ll never know
