What is the definition?
The books say strong affection for another.
Words cannot dictate what it means,
It is too powerful.
One cannot pinpoint what it is.
It is the fuel that drives our lives.
It gives purpose to us when we are
Feeling of a hollow shell.
It is mentally challenged,
Not knowing when enough is enough
But continues anyway.
You know you’re not good enough,
but it doesn’t hold up a mirror.
It is a separate person that annoys
you at no end.
You hate it, but need it. Like a job,
When you don’t have it, you want it,
But when you have it, you begin to
bore yourself with what you only dreamed of.
There is only one definition for love;
Why we live.
