Just because I'm Haitian
Doesn't mean I eat dirt
Doesn't mean I came on a banana boat
And doesn't mean I'm poor
Just because I'm Haitian
Doesn't mean I don't know how to dress
Doesn't mean I'm a walking disease
And doesn't mean I smell like a dog's rear.
Just because I'm Haitian
Doesn't mean I'm uneducated
Doesn't mean I don't take baths
And doesn't mean I have no manners
Is that why you think less of me?
And look at me dirty?
Why are you so biased?
Just because I'm Haitian?
