Do you see these scars?
The scars of my life?
The scars that tell you,
Of my strife?
The scars of love?
The scars of fear?
The kind of scars,
That fill you with tears?
They tell me why,
The doctors do,
They tell me it’s
Because of you
So I turn from fights
I run away
I’m finding Him
For help today
He’ll put me through
And perhaps one day
I will be cured
And the scars will fade.
