The Dumb Questions
Dumb. They call me dumb. I ask, and the names I get in response tend to pierce my skin, down to the bone. Am I dumb? A dummy, a dumb child, a no-one-wants-to deal-with-you kid? Is this all I can amount to? Is this all I can achieve? I don't want to be dumb. I say I'm not, they say I am. Who's right? If I'm so dumb, am I always wrong? Or are they dumb, and I am right? There is so much I want to know, so much I NEED to know, but I can't. I'm just the dumb one. I'm just dumb.
