They Cry Out To Me
Every night in my dreams
I hear the faint sound of screams
they cry out to me
pain, poison, they burn so deep
these cries are set free
they haunt me in my sleep
they roam the Earth
they cry out in agony
they want to be free
but they have no self-worth
this horrible fate will linger
this hopeless feeling tingles
my heart shatters as they begin to die
now all i can hear is a painful cry
every night it all comes rolling in like a storm
they want to feel the warmth
so sound the alarm
but they bring no harm
as they walk the streets
