The Word We Call Love
If love was just a word
No one would have been hurt
No one would have been happy
No one would have been spared
Love must be
Set in motion
By a hug, a kiss,
A thought
To be loved,
You will be hurt
And to be hurt
You must hurt others
So what is the point
Of this thing we call love?
To hurt over and over?
Or to accept that pain
Breathes out love
