13 Reasons Why
In "Thirteen Reasons Why",
a girl gave thirteen reasons she wanted to die,
Today, I give you thirteen reasons why I cry.
I cry for the lonely outcasts, never given a chance.
I cry because the only reason guys talk to me is because they want in my pants.
I cry for the awaiting summer, coming soon- but slow to come.
I cry because people judge me, all because of the town I'm from.
I cry for the fallen tears, the silent surrender of the weak.
I cry for the little girl who's parents are fighting- again, to the screams, she'll loose sleep.
I cry for the pregnant teen, who believed her boyfriends talk of "love".
And I cry for my old "best friend forever"
I guess, for ever just wasn't long enough.
I cry when I don't finish my food, while their are starving kids in Haiti.
And I cry for the homosexuals everywhere- hated just because who they love, isn't a lady.
I cry for the hurt, the broken, the rejected, the lonely, the ones in pain.
I cry for all the memories lost, like raindrops in the rain.
And the thirteenth reason, the thirteenth reason I cry,
Is because no one ...no one
should be given thirteen reasons so horrible that make them wish to die.
