Tracks Of My Tears
These tears of mine
These tears fall so easily.
They clatter to the ground,
Why can’t you see?
Look at me and watch me die.
See me trembling as I cry.
You’ll never see how much im hurting inside.
For my wings are broken; I cannot fly.
The jet black hair falls infront of my eyes,
Can’t you tell im dying inside?
You convince me of these gentle lies,
Let me get lost In those smiling eyes.
Look at me and watch me die
See me trembling as I cry.
You’ll never see how much im hurting inside.
For my wings are broken; I cannot fly.
Now I lay here on the ground,
Broken and alone,
Never to be found.
Look at me and watch me die
See me trembling as I cry.
You’ll never see how much Im hurting inside.
For my wings are broken; I cannot fly.
Forgive me in this eternal fight,
Drop the blade with the shining moon’s light.
Writing “survive” across my wrist,
You’re the one who left me like this.
Look at me and watch me die.
See me trembling as I cry.
You’ll never see how much im hurting inside.
For my wings are broken; I cannot fly.
Shaking hands never see.
Nothing could ever be.
Nothing seems to be as sweet
as what I can’t have.
Dropping my blade,
letting go.
This is my way of letting you know.
Im cutting my losses, as you can see.
But you’ll always be a part of me.
Look at me and watch me die.
See me trembling as I cry.
You’ll never see how much im hurting inside.
For my wings are broken; I cannot fly.
Along my wrist these scars to dance,
I know you see them,
even with the slightest glance.
So maybe you’d understand,
If you’d give me just one chance.
Look at me and watch me die.
See me trembling as I cry.
You’ll never see how much im hurting inside.
For my wings are broken; I cannot fly.
So now I lay me down to sleep,
I cry the tears I’d never weep.
All the emptiness I feel inside,
as nighttime falls, I cannot hide.
Shall I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
All this pain,
Take it away.
Leave me never again,
To feel the rain.
