The Secret Keys
The gentle whispers of the day change by dusk
The quiet day turns into a nighttime symphony
Its treasures hidden from the restless world
But those who listen can hear its melodic tone.
Crickets chirps, loud and courageously
But when someone approaches
They fall silent.
Just as the cricket keeps its beautiful harmony concealed
My fingers dance along the keys only when I’m alone.
The music is released from my the tips of my fingers
As they drag swiftly along all eighty-eight
But only my ears can be delighted with the rich opus.
Shy, unwilling to share my talent
I only come out when no when is listening
Music I will pursue, and through the world
I see the beautiful black and white hue.
