As I cry,
I can feel your eyes,
Staring me down,
Daring me to protest.
As I run,
I can hear your footsteps,
Trailing behind me,
Begging me to forgive.
As I cross the bridge,
Between human and monster,
You shield your eyes,
Because you cannot believe this.
Your darling angel,
Has crossed the line,
She can no longer hold back,
The rage she has been holding for years.
