Sweet Temptation
Dear love,
how you sit there
so perfectly
resting upon your dish—
My eyes are fixated
oh so longingly
on your delicate white icing
and colored sprinkles
scattered carelessly
but oh so beautifully
upon your lovely face
How lonely you look
my love
waiting all alone
for someone
to fulfill their sweet duty
and taste your gentle fluffiness
licking their fingers
for the last remnants
of your sugary delights
Oh how I wish
my love
that you could be mine!
that I could lift the spoon
to my lips
and partake
in your delicious pleasures;
your marvelous sensation
drifting through me
as I swallow
Oh deary me
my love
I gaze over at you once more
just in time
to see the last bit of you
…Swallowed.
And my sweet romance
Ended.
