Summer Monsoon
Droughts brought on by scorching blaze,
Submerge the land with threats of the scythe,
Yet flees with every breath of haunting clouds,
As they whisper their bounty close,
Bringing fruits of life,
Blessing sent by the Gods,
Yet one must caution,
Yes; beware,
For every blessing has a sacrifice,
Dangerous if late,
Dangerous still, if early,
Unpredictable and wily,
Beware the visit,
Of the summer monsoon.
