My pulsing, twitching, throbbing veins
Can take no more of this kind of pain
The bloody fire stretches thin
Killing me, drowning me, from within
Nerves respond to cold metal's touch
Using old memories as a crutch
Bleeding me dry from the inside out
And ignoring what this is really about
