Sister & Mother
Between the two I can seem to understand
The fussing and fighting, it just can’t seem to stop
Can you try to listen till the end?
Can you, BOTH start opening up and stop trying to pretend
Sister say’s “what ever”
Mom say’s “I’m done”
Both giving up hope before the solving has even begun
Open your ears open your eyes
Making threats and empty lies
Looking at both: scared, mad, upset, and indifferent
Looking at the people I love most cry
Man I’m tired, I can’t breathe
The problems are suffocating me
I need space I need time I need to be relived
Give me some sort of hope, because when you needed me
I listened and I believed
