Barely There
They look at me and think they see an angel
But a glance at a mirror will show you the darkness beneath
Although I act perfect, polite, and pure
Inside I'm boiling with rage at the hurt inflicted
I seethe, in fury, in pain, at all those lame excuses I call my friends
Hello;I'm right here
but it's not like you notice me standing there anyway
I play the part of the good daughter, like I should
you play the part of the fool who never does a thing for anyone
But who's the one getting all the attention?
I whisper my wishes to the sky:
Let me stay invisible
Or welcome everyone else to my world
