Falling
Wind hits my face
As hard as can be
I feel like,
I’m finally free
All my troubles, gone
No one stares
No one looks
No one expects me
To neglect the cord
To keep falling
No work to be done
No day to be gone
No sunrise for me
As I stare into the sun
For the first and last time
My mind comes undone
I see my life
My first love and only love
Now gone from the world….
Nothing left…for me to do
Nothing left for me to see
I won’t pull the cord
I will no longer do what they expect of me
I will keep the wind
I will keep thoughts
The journey
And the freedom forevermore
And I will keep, falling
