In the Stillness of the Night
In the stillness of the night
oh how the wind will howl
and it will sound like a sound
from a monster's jowl
And you will hide away in fright
Under your covers in the night
In the stillness of the night
Shadows cover you
Ones of creatures lurking about
In your dreams they intrude
and you will shake in your bed with fright
Having a nightmare in the night
In the stillness of the night
You try to escape
But as you pass the window
you see a queer shape
Yet out the door you step with fright
Traveling into the night
In the calming thoughts of day
Birds chirp cheerfully
Yet all the sounds of the morning
are some how grim and full of dismay
Upon the floor of the wood your body lays
Dripping blood and still in the calming thoughts of day
