The Pain of the Heart cannot be heard by a stethoscope.
It cannot be felt by anyone else.
It is not a hurt or ache by which you can give a number for pain.
You can't see it coming,
Yes, I mean our hearts are blind.
Pain of the heart is the look in a child's eyes when mommy never came home.
Pain of the heart is the gap between threatening words.
It is the need to comfort a crying baby.
Pain of the heart is the sight of the homeless.
It is the reckage after the storm.
Pain of the heart is the momentary belief that everything is okay.
