Amendments Of The Heart
I say justice has no place here.
There are laws that protect us from hurt
There are laws that protect us from murder
But where is the law that protects my heart?
A woman stabbed in the heart by murder
is no different than a woman stabbed in the heart by betrayal.
a murdered will stay secret while a heartbreaker will tell all
the surviving woman may love no further
Is this world no more than a prison?
Laws governing each and every thing
except to what song my heart will sing
or maybe the ME + YOU should now be turned to division
