A Shadow’s shadowy inception
When master overwhelms his palms in the sunlight,
Enjoying the succulence, bracing the warmth,
He suddenly casts his eyes upon a lonely wall,
And squirms with fright,
“What a sight!!!!
To see that fine wall plagued by the accursed shadow of mine!!!
The death presage, an ill omen delimited in black,
That has and always has an indescribable knack,
In being nature’s own parasite,
Perpetually occupying the site,
Owned by worthy, ever- toiling hands.
Deriving sustenance from the sunlight,
In forming that horrendous jet-black blight,
Unabashedly copying my own elegant frame,
Remorselessly basking in all my fame,
But a deaf ear to any taunts or even a maim,
That always makes an aim for me and only me!!!
Thieving the bun,
Being our fun,
But when caught
I have to ceaselessly see,
I have to unremittingly endure,
My gaunt- haunt walk scot-free.
Does it have any flesh, a flesh penetrated with any provoked emotions?
Or is just a shoddily built replica of mine
That I have to always see on a lonely wall and repine??!!!!!!.”
After hearing master’s tirade, I am afraid,
That I still look at myself as a wealthy shade………………………….
The shade incarcerated to its master’s hide,
Skulking behind him every-time, every minute, every second,
Gloating with a slave’s pride,
Of being loyal and trustworthy,
Of being a dog’s tail, of being a cat’s paw………………….
Gloating with the slave’s pride,
Of eternally being with master by masquerading a physics law………………….
I look at myself still as a wealthy shade,
Though feeble enough I am for any worth,
Though feeble enough I am to earn master’s girth,
I can still proudly declaim that I am not a lame but a wealthy shade………..
“That knows no use and knows no betray too!!!!”
