too much water in your brown
too much water in your brown eyes from mine they are blue
too much soil in my eyes from yours they speak true:
i laugh days away just to cry for weeks
after thoughts weaken me i feel so i speak.
i'm human so leak, seep hormones from pores
you see, feel them through all of the doors
with music i set up to help me wear masks
that move my lips sing for you and never ask
me: why, for the roots, for the rain of my sins
sound small feel big doesn't that wear you thin?
wear me as a dress: need a slip underneath
til moths eat away at me frail i will keep.
i take water from your eyes you soil from mine
separate avoid growth so they don't intertwine.
