Empty as this city, these sidewalks littered with years of tragedy. Its air dead, its air says something to me.
Honesty it’s a road that’s taken us nowhere, the places it takes us leads to are like dark avenues where people stare, people I
Never knew.
“The people and cars pass by ever so fast, hitting their gas, leaving me behind in their smoke like a memory left to settle in
the dust of the past. No need to take me, my shadow will never forsake me.”
Flanked by the dreams left for the fall that lay here still, touched by the frozen frost chill. Leave me with an emotion
Unphased and unbroken by the atmosphere of the surreal, give me something safe to feel.
“The people and cars pass by ever so fast, hitting their gas, leaving me behind in their smoke like a memory left to settle in
the dust of the past. No need to take me, my shadow will never forsake me.”

“The people and cars pass by ever so fast, hitting their gas, leaving me behind in their smoke like a memory left to settle in
the dust of the past. No need to take me, my shadow will never forsake me.”
Before I met you I was able to sleep so much deeper but you took me from being a dreamer and made me your believer,
your whispered words are the only way I feel I can possibly be delivered. I’m waiting to hear those longing words from your
lips but they seem to be taking forever, wait much longer and my heart’ll be frozen over with December. Give me a brush or
let me hug your waist, kiss me now give me something to remember even if it’s a caress along my cheek with your fingers.
Don’t leave me frozen through December.
“The people and cars pass by ever so fast, hitting their gas, leaving me behind in their smoke like a memory left to settle in
the dust of the past. No need to take me, my shadow will never forsake me.”
