For what it's worth
Out there, somewhere, maybe there's hope for all
Out there, somewhere, maybe there's a place where you'll never fall
Out there, somewhere, maybe there's a world where they'll accept you as you are
Out there, somewhere, maybe there's a place you can love
Yet you'll never know if you give up right now
And don't get up to do what you're meant to
And yet, you may never know if you hide behind that mask forever
You may never know unless you come out and show yourself for what you are
Show them the pain, the hurt, and the lasting scars
Don't care about what is going to happen next
Who knows, but your world just might become the happiest place
But that's a lot of maybes, and life is unfair
Even if you try, you'll be rewarded with tears every single time
And no one appreciating your efforts
Because people are too stuck to their beliefs now
And nothing you'll do will ever make that change.
