The Fall.
I sit and ask what I can do to change
All I want is to smile
So I must rearrange
My head tells me one thing and my heart says another
Why can’t I say it?
Why do I cover?
It all seems so simple when written in pen
It all seems so happy
Until it’s the end
I hear inviting thoughts
just begging me to fail
I wake up at night
My body in ail
I want it to end
Not one thing but all
There is a downward trend
All that’s left is the fall
Is there any understanding
From someone but me
To save me from landing
In ways unpleasantly
If so then reach out
Please tell me your there
Because now I just doubt
I’m deserving of air
