Absolute Power
Disgruntled, angry, she walked up to her oppressor.
Let me go.
But that won’t work, no. She knew here she had no power.
Trapped by everything, she hated this.
It’s a tainted gift.
No matter how much her hands wish to accept it,
She knew toxin waifs from its supposed benevolence.
She accepted anyways, my lust and greed unmatched by caution.
She knew it was better to be poisoned than to refuse.
She didn’t ask for this, but then again, the oppressed never do.
Let me go, I just want to be free of you.
