Wind Forever Sings
At this time there is an
Emptiness in my soul.
I look and see a world of ache;
Come to my heart which
Is no more it has been
Broken
I am waiting
I will be waiting
Three rainbows - colors
Alight against the
Lacey grey of clouds.
They remind me to
Hope.
The one who broke my heart
weeps for another at my left.
She who he cries for
Fumes at my right.
At this time there is a
Hopeless cavern opening
In my chest
I cannot see past the
Dampness under each eye
I still wait
Do you know I am
Waiting?
Forgotten in a flurry of lives
I huddle to keep
Warm against the back
Of a stranger
He turns around.
At this time there is an
Answer careening toward
My falling heart.
I will wait forever.
