A New World
the morning breaks
the world awakens
the cold bites
the Heavens begin weeping
Her tears pour downward
in an unending downfall
they create duck ponds
too small for the ducks
the skies' rhythmic tear drops
their melodic, pattering lullaby tune
on the summer's dry foliage
the flowers faces droop increasingly lonely
before long all flowers have disappeared
rivlets of fresh rain meander lazily
their cold feet leaving nothing untouched
their wake leaves a thoroughly washed earth
everything sparkles, gleams and shines and reflects
the way unique to after a rainfall
the animals step blinking out of shelter
to view in awe, a new world
