I never thought it would be me
But who does?
Who reads a story or poem about a girl burning herself and thinks thats gonna be me
I didn’t
I saw my friends tracing their marks and scars and I shuddered
I shuddered at the thought of causing pain to control another pain
No one ever plans to start
But once they do
They can’t stop
