Little kids dancing in the street,
Looking for their favorite treat,
Dressed as all things fun and wild,
Will this be your child?
Teenagers at the party scene,
Who will be the next Queen,
This is the time of year,
Where being yourself is nothing to fear.
Grown-ups forgetting if they have enough pay,
Telling their children, "Go on and play",
Everyone seems to have wings,
Flying away to where they're King.
Trading candy and having fun,
Making fun of people who use a silly pun,
Now this is the key,
To what Halloween should be.
