Meltdown
I’m so angry
I don’t know why.
I could punch a wall,
smash plates,
whip pillows,
Scream.
I’m so sad
I don’t know why.
I just want to inhale
hazed air,
and fly so high.
Tonight I’m a kite.
I’m so happy
I don’t know why.
I want to draw the earth
to scale
in the middle of the road.
I’ll shade seas with blue chalk powder.
Lay in the center,
I am invincible-
the world holds ME up.
I’m so empty
I don’t know why.
I know what its like
to have died.
Nothing in my heart
but melancholy.
Everything has lost feeling,
I don’t have a spine.
I’m so crazy
I don’t know why.
