Ships, seas and eternity.
Ships in the sky,
sailing out to eternal seas
floating with the clouds
flying with the birds.
Even the harping of the violin
the voices of the river
and the whispers of the trees
couldn't carry me so high up
to the ship that never docks.
All I need to do is close my eyes
wish with all my might
and then, one day,
when I wish hard enough
I'll be on the deck of that ship,
the one-eyed captain snarling orders at me
and know that I'm finally in the sky,
a deckhand to the heavens.
