Skies Fall
Smoke clouding your sight, your vision
Walls, beams, and glass fall
While you just try and breathe
And hear the call.
Your eyes tear up, smoke winning.
Your skin breaks, invasion beginning.
Your voice soft, but still singing.
Your life goes, time ending.
That September day, where all was changed
The peace, quiet and calmness of the day
Shocked with pain and death
Scaring all with just one drop.
Time stands still.
Life continues to move at the speed of light
