The Letter I Could Never Send
Hello I bet you're wondering why this letter came in the mail
I needed to write it for awhile
I'm at work but I can't focus, because these words need to be written
So I'm swallowing what's left of my pride
I trust that life's been doin ya well
I see you have another girl
I hope she treats you better than I did
It's funny how it's been five months to the day since you walked away
Isn't it crazy how fast life changes
Life was getting complicated and you were so frustrated
So you did what was best for you
This singing thing has been workin for me
But honestly some days I feel like the
Only reason I try so hard is to prove to myself
That I can be good enough for you
We both know that I'm good enough for you
But still;I'm sorry for hating you
I'm sorry for being immature
I'm sorry for the breakup songs I wrote that weren't true
I'm sorry for the lies that I told myself in my mind
Just to reassure me that I'm better off without you
So if you're ever in my neck of the woods
Feel free to drop on by
I'd love to reminisce about the good times
Let's forget the bad times
