Stubborn
I'm sorry
Two words that mean nothing
Or everything
Said again and again
No more to say but these two little words
This war inside me
It's one against hundreds
Thousands
Millions
I'm losing
Fighting each day
Falling deeper and deeper
Like a ship in a storm
I've lost my sense of direction
So lost and confused
Wanting to end
But that stubbornness I know
All too well
Ignore all my pleas
Say I'm strong
I'll speak of weakness
Say you believe in me
That makes one of us
Believe me?
One day I will too
Maybe
But for now
I'm sorry to say
I feel too weak to go on
You're so stubborn
Speak of my strength
As you fight right beside me
Not moving an inch away
Your stubbornness
Brings me anger
But it's saving my life
