The Chair
There once was an old man,
he sat from day to night,
he watched the stars and the sun shine bright,
He never talked,
he'd never laugh or smile,
he just sat in that chair and satyed for awhile,
Then one day, he started to change,
his skin grew hard and brown like wood,
and metal rods grew where his legs should,
Slowly that old man
formed into a chair,
but nobody seemed to notice or care,
Now he sits, jealous of the people who stand,
while they tell of the man who's a chair,
and all of them point and stare.
