All But Him
I sit by him on the bleachers.
Rest my chin on his knee.
Ask him how big his hand is compared to mine
Just to get it next to his.
We joke and laugh.
When people ask if we are together
I blush
Because I want to be.
We are ‘just friends’
But everyone sees it.
All but him.
The only one important to me.
