Roses and Violets
Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
I loved her.
But she chose you.
The roses need water.
The violets need help.
She left me crying,
Like a pitiful whelp.
The roses now wilt.
The violets are dead.
As much as I'd like to forget,
I can still remember what she said.
Roses have turned to ash, Violets crushed to dust.
I thought what we had was love,
But to her it was just lust.
My roses are gone,
My violets are too.
I loved her.
But she chose you...
