The World We Live In
The world is so messed up: It's impossible to remain optimistic.
The death rate rises everyday and I don't want to become a statistic.
I cannot change the world; repetition lingers in the air.
Nothing will ever change and no one will ever care.
There are dark clouds of doom following everyone around...
People are standing on building tops, contemplating jumping down.
Children are starving; not a bite to eat. People are crying; dying with every heartbeat.
Still, people pretend not to see. Walking around as if they are blind and living their lives carefree.
As long as they get what they want, nothing else will ever matter.
Self centered and inconsiderate; the situation couldn't get any sadder.
The world is headed straight to hell; full speed ahead, no breaks at all.
Quicker than the speed of light; to the bottom, we will fall...
