My Wonderland
I feel like my world is spinning out of control,
And I'm powerless to stop it,
Like Alice falling down the rabbit hole.
I'm standing in the middle of it all,
Watching everything fly by in a slow fall,
And like Wonderland, nothing is ever the same;
Things are taken away from me as if they never came
And I just have to sit by and watch
Though deep inside myself, I have so much to say,
But unlike the talking flowers, I can't say it everyday.
It's all bottled up, teacup small
And the Mad Hatter throws it, trying to break it all.
I'm sitting quietly at his wild tea party,
And his mouse, she calls me extremely rude,
But he just waves her off, and tries to lighten my mood
Acting all silly and absolutely mad,
He twirls his hat at the vanishing cat,
And gets disappointed if I don't laugh 'cause I'm sad.
But here comes the Queen of Hearts,
So Hatter helps me escape, to not get torn apart,
But soon again I find myself falling down the rabbit hole,
And I can't stop anything from swirling out of control.
The white rabbit shoves his ticking pocket watch in my ear,
Making the fact that time is running out oh-so-very clear,
And if I panic, it's something I don't show
Since it's not something the Mad Hatter needs to know
I'll just bottle it up, teacup small,
And sit back and watch everything f

l.
