My Wonderland

I feel like my world is spinning out of control,
And I'm powerless to stop it,
Like Alice falling down the rabbit hole.
I'm standing in the middle of it all,
Watching everything fly by in a slow fall,
And like Wonderland, nothing is ever the same;
Things are taken away from me as if they never came
And I just have to sit by and watch
Though deep inside myself, I have so much to say,
But unlike the talking flowers, I can't say it everyday.
It's all bottled up, teacup small
And the Mad Hatter throws it, trying to break it all.
I'm sitting quietly at his wild tea party,
And his mouse, she calls me extremely rude,
But he just waves her off, and tries to lighten my mood
Acting all silly and absolutely mad,
He twirls his hat at the vanishing cat,
And gets disappointed if I don't laugh 'cause I'm sad.
But here comes the Queen of Hearts,
So Hatter helps me escape, to not get torn apart,
But soon again I find myself falling down the rabbit hole,
And I can't stop anything from swirling out of control.
The white rabbit shoves his ticking pocket watch in my ear,
Making the fact that time is running out oh-so-very clear,
And if I panic, it's something I don't show
Since it's not something the Mad Hatter needs to know
I'll just bottle it up, teacup small,
And sit back and watch everything f

I agree with people commenting on here because it feels like someone is listening. Usually, it seems my friends are too busy for thing that I need help with, but I know that they are there for me when I truly need them. Keep writing! And I'll keep reading.

No, i dont say very much. I hold a lot in since no one really likes listening to me. That why i'm happy when someone comments on my work here; that means they listened! :D And saying nothing and regretting you didn't is definitely worse. Thank you =)

Wow! This is relateable. I know how all of that seems to feel. I agree with feeling like falling down the rabbit hole; I think most can. If you never say something, then life gets worse, just reading your pomes, it seems you don't say thing you wish to. Which is worse, saying something and regetting it or saying nothing and regretting you didn't? Just keep writing, you're talented.

Oh my god! this so good! You are amazing! I love the way you portrayed Alice's situation in wonderland and turned it into something that any one who is facing a conflicting or insecure or deppressing or just plain confusing situation in life can relate too. And kudos for the unique ending! that was real cool!
