The yellow moon shimmers,
Looking over a golden wooded area.
The unsuspecting leaf falls,
Separated from its branch.

Anticipation grows, before it hits the grave ground
From the distance virgin eyes
Recognize its exile.
Alone, now in a dark forest
Scared, yelling out for attention, compaction.

Suddenly, from sensitive sky,
A lovely lark lulls lonely leaf,
With her lullaby.
Allowing Fall’s forgotten to rest.
